'Group for Evangelisation'
is a co-ordinating group for
David Spriggs, Moderator of GfE says:
'The Group the Evangelisation is unique!
It acts like the evangelising heart for the Body of Christ. Here denominational leaders and agencies with responsibility for mission and evangelism in England meet.
We face the hard issues, assess new opportunities, and promote cutting edge initiatives. What is more, we do it together and we do it prayerfully. Essentially however, we exist to serve all the Christians in our land to help them fulfil Christ’s mission here.
Consultations, conversations, web sites, publications and other resources, are just some of the ways we seek to engender and promote thoughtful and effective evangelism.
Each person on the group contributes and each person is better equipped when they work in their own sphere of influence, because they belong to the Group.
Without GfE, life would be poorer, not only for the members but the whole body of Christ and ultimately our country'.
